Volunteering

The Carnival takes a lot of organising and, as always, we need lots of helpers both during the Friday set-up and on the day.

There are many areas where we need volunteering from marshals to help in the beer tent, from 2 hours to 10 hours - how long is up to you - all offers of help are welcome - get in touch to find out more.  If you can spare some time and would like to join in the fun please contact us.

Book a Stall

Registration for stall pitches now open! There are different categories depending upon the type of enterprise: commercial, charity, food and beverages, alcohol, sporting event etc. We have a limited number of pitches available and it’s best to book early if you would like to join in.

Arena Performances

Would you like to perform in the arena at The Old Basing & Lychpit Carnival? We are always looking for new, entertaining and exciting acts to enthral families and visitors to the carnival. If you have a group performance that you think may fit the bill please get in contact with us.

Events to be in 15 minute slots in the arena (unless otherwise advised), time slots to be advised closer to the Carnival. Equipment requirements for performances must be advised at the time of booking, along with an estimated number of performers.

Sponsor the Carnival

If you want to promote your business or organisation, whilst at the same time enabling the volunteer committee to run the Carnival and thereby facilitating donations to deserving local community groups, then there are plenty of opportunities for sponsorship and advertising at this year's Carnival.

You can sponsor the whole Carnival, sponsor a part of the Carnival which relates to your business or organisation, sponsor the raffle tickets, donate a prize for our raffle, advertise in the Carnival programme, or on the Carnival's website/social media.
